Meet Your Next Marketing Maven

I’m a marketing pro, creative writer, and big believer in the power of storytelling. My career spans multiple industries, but my true passion lies in retail and multicultural marketing. I’ve worked with iconic brands such as McDonald’s, Sprint, and General Motors, managing campaigns that connected with diverse audiences and brought big ideas to life (and bigger wins to the table).

In 2018, while working on the Costa Rica account, I saw an opportunity to hone my storytelling skills and push my creative boundaries. This led me to pursue an MFA in Creative Writing at Chatham University, where I refined my ability to craft compelling narratives.

Since then, I’ve carved out a niche collaborating with local nonprofits, academic institutions, and social justice advocacy groups, focusing on content development, social media strategy, and marketing consulting. I’ve helped my clients amplify their voice and engage their communities through truly unprecedented times, crafting messages that inspire connection, clarity, and compassion when the world has needed it most.

I've successfully navigated both nonprofit and retail marketing, which has given me a unique ability to adapt strategies across industries and craft campaigns that are as meaningful as they are effective.

Blending creativity and strategy to make an impact? That’s my sweet spot. From designing compelling content to launching omnichannel campaigns that drive action, I love the challenge of connecting stories to results.

When I’m not geeking out over marketing trends, you’ll find me teaching creative writing workshops at a drug treatment facility for pregnant women, because I truly believe storytelling can empower people to rise above and overcome the systems they’re in. Outside of that, I’m naming my plants after drag queens (yes, you’ll meet Monét X Change, my Money Tree, if we Zoom) or baking my signature 'Marry Me' Key Lime Pie. If The Golden Girls and the Skittles "Piñata" commercial from 2008 live rent-free in your head too, we’re bound to click. Let’s talk!

Fiction to Followers: Shaping a Social Media Strategy from Manuscript to Mainstream

I’m currently collaborating with established Pittsburgh author Sarah Shotland to enhance her online presence and position her as a thought leader, ahead of the highly anticipated release of her second fiction novel.

The focus of this long-game strategy is to grow her follower base by leveraging her creative writing expertise. I’ve crafted a comprehensive social media marketing strategy, which includes a content calendar, scheduling posts with Hootsuite, and creating assets through design work in Canva. I’m also conducting competitive research using AI to ensure Sarah’s content resonates with her audience.

I first met Sarah at Chatham University and was immediately captivated by her writing and the powerful subject matter she covers. As a fan, I’m obsessed with her work, so when she asked me to help with her book launch, I jumped at the chance!

Crafting Stories, Building Brands: Content Writing that Converts

As a creative writer, I know the power of a well-told story. Whether it’s a blog that sparks curiosity, a social media post that stops the scroll, or an email campaign that drives action, my content captivates and connects.

Recently, I helped Writing Class Radio Podcast grow listenership by 133% and expand Instagram followers from 175 to 1,621 through engaging blogs and on-brand social media messaging. For Chatham University’s 150th anniversary, I crafted alumni feature stories that strengthened alumni connections and boosted giving during a year-long celebration. I’ve also put my bilingual skills to work, supporting Avelina Oats’ U.S. market rollout by writing press releases, articles, and translating their website from Spanish to English, ensuring a seamless brand introduction.

What sets me apart? My ability to adapt to any voice, audience, or platform—crafting words that don’t just inform but inspire action.
